Have you ever desired to have an effective way to give your cares and anxieties over to the Lord and have Him "take care of everything?" The Surrender Novena is a favorite prayer of many to pray in this situation.
The prayer contains the words of Jesus guiding you through surrendering your fears, worries, and desires to Him. This special novena was given to Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo by Jesus in the 20th century. Just as Our Lord surrendered His Will to the Father's Will, this prayer helps you reflect on how much Jesus desires us to follow His example and surrender everything to Him.
About the Design:
The original watercolor artwork on this card depicts Jesus on the cross, with the words from the Surrender Novena, "O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything!" on a ribbon encircling the cross. The inspiration for this image is of Jesus surrendering His Will to the Father on the cross and also His teaching that to follow Him, we must take up our own cross. In this image, as we call out to Jesus to "take care of everything", we unite our prayer to His.
